Courses align with official exam objectives and reinforce concepts through applied labs and case studies.

Objective

The CYB-CERT track is designed to prepare learners for industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications that validate professional-level competence across security operations, infrastructure defense, threat analysis, and cybersecurity management. This program equips students with the knowledge, exam readiness, and applied context required to earn credentials frequently mandated for advancement in government, DoD, and private-sector cybersecurity roles.

CYB-CERT 100 : CompTIA® Security+ (SY0-701) Prep

Prerequisites: None [Preferred – Completion of CYB or CYB-ADV]

This course prepares students for the CompTIA® Security+ (SY0-701) certification, a globally recognized credential validating core Cybersecurity knowledge. Students gain a practical understanding of security fundamentals, including threat identification, vulnerability management, risk mitigation, secure architecture, identity and access management, and incident response. The content aligns with the official Security+ exam objectives and incorporates instructional approaches used by leading training providers. By the end of the course, students will possess the foundational skills required for junior cybersecurity roles and be fully prepared to appear for the SY0-701 certification exam.

CYB-CERT 105 : CompTIA® CySA+ (CS0-003) Prep

Prerequisites: Completion of CYB or CYB-ADV

This course prepares students for the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification by developing the analytical and operational skills required for security monitoring, detection, and response. Students work with SIEM tools, review security events, investigate indicators of compromise, and perform threat-hunting tasks through guided labs and structured workflows. The course aligns with the official CySA+ exam objectives and develops hands-on analytical skills in areas such as vulnerability management, threat hunting, SIEM operations, behavioral analysis, and incident response processes.

CYB-CERT 110: ISC2® CISSP Prep

Prerequisites: None [Preferred – Completion of CYB-CERT 100 for SY0-701]

This course provides a structured, comprehensive preparation path for the ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. It covers all eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), including security and risk management, asset security, architecture and engineering, network security, IAM, assessment and testing, security operations, and software development security. Learners engage in case studies, governance frameworks, architectural models, and scenario-based analysis that reflect the depth and complexity of the exam. The course emphasizes conceptual mastery paired with real-world application, enabling students to approach the CISSP exam with confidence.
