Applied Cyber Engineering

For learners ready to advance beyond the basics, this track focuses on operational and analytical security skills.

You will learn to:

Monitor and analyze security events
Work with SIEM and endpoint security tools
Detect, investigate, and respond to incidents
Perform threat hunting and advanced log analysis
Hands-on labs simulate real SOC environments, preparing students for mid- to senior-level cybersecurity roles.

Objective

This program builds on foundational Cybersecurity knowledge to develop advanced defensive and analytical skills. Learners gain hands-on experience with complex security tools, systems, and operations, enabling them to assess, respond to, and mitigate threats in dynamic IT environments. The curriculum prepares students for mid- to senior-level cybersecurity roles, emphasizing technical expertise, operational readiness, and practical problem-solving in real-world scenarios.

CYB-ADV 100 : SOC Analyst Sr.

Prerequisites: CYB 100

Covers advanced SOC operations and defensive security practices. Topics include SIEM management, intrusion detection, endpoint security, advanced log analysis, and threat hunting. Hands-on labs allow learners to simulate complex security incidents, apply mitigation strategies, and refine incident response skills suitable for senior SOC roles.

CYB-ADV 105 : SOC Analyst Elite

Prerequisites: CYB-ADV 100

Focuses on mastery-level skills for cybersecurity defense. Learners gain expertise in orchestrating SOC operations, advanced incident detection, threat intelligence integration, automation of response workflows, and comprehensive security analysis. Practical labs and capstone exercises simulate high-stakes security environments, preparing students for elite operational roles and advanced professional certifications.
