WHO WE ARE
Tysons Institute is a private vocational technical college certified by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). As an established IT training school, Tysons Institute provides career-focused education in information technology, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
Over the years, Tysons Institute has served clients in both the public and private sectors. For example, its clients include U.S. federal, state, and local government agencies. In addition, financial institutions, corporations, professional associations, and foreign embassies have worked with Tysons Institute.
Tysons Institute helps students quickly develop new technical skills and prepare for technology careers. Moreover, the institute supports working professionals who want to update their IT knowledge. Students benefit from hands-on instruction and flexible learning options.
The IT training school offers both part-time and full-time programs. Students can attend classes in the morning, afternoon, evening, or on weekends. Additionally, students can complete select certificate programs online through AWS Training and Certification resources and cloud-focused coursework.
Tysons Institute designs its vocational technology programs to match modern industry needs. As a result, students gain practical experience for careers in cloud computing, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technical support.

In addition, the institute helps students strengthen their technical knowledge through hands-on learning and real-world instruction.
In order to meet our mission, the goals of Tysons Institute are as follows:
- Continue to offer a variety of IT certificate and diploma programs in emerging and high employment demand fields.
- Provide affordable and flexible education that balances technical, professional, and critical thinking components in effort to meet the needs of a diverse community of learners.
- Deliver quality part-time and full-time education programs through classes that meet in the morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends while settling for nothing less than the best teachers, all of whom either occupy top level positions in business and government or teach at nearby schools and colleges.
