Objective
Modern Cyber Foundations equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills to confidently enter the Cybersecurity field. From understanding IT fundamentals and operating systems to mastering networking, security concepts, and introductory threat analysis, this program prepares students for real-world scenarios. Through hands-on labs, practical exercises, and interactive learning, participants gain a strong foundation for pursuing advanced Cybersecurity roles or professional certifications.
CYB 100 : Cybersecurity Foundations
Prerequisites: None
Provides a comprehensive introduction to Cybersecurity concepts, IT fundamentals, and practical defensive skills. Topics include Operating Systems, Networking, Security Principles, Threat Awareness, basic Linux and Windows Administration, Social Engineering, Malware, Cryptography, Authentication, and Incident Response. Hands-on labs and exercises reinforce theoretical knowledge to prepare learners for real-world Cybersecurity challenges.
CYB 105 : SOC Analyst Jr.
Prerequisites: CYB 100
Focuses on the core skills and responsibilities of a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst. Learners gain hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident detection and response, log analysis, SIEM tools, and threat intelligence. Practical labs and exercises simulate real-world scenarios, preparing students for junior-level SOC positions and further Cybersecurity specialization.
Applied Cyber Engineering
For learners ready to advance beyond the basics, this track focuses on operational and analytical security skills.
You will learn to:
Monitor and analyze security events
Work with SIEM and endpoint security tools
Detect, investigate, and respond to incidents
Perform threat hunting and advanced log analysis

CYB-ADV 100 : SOC Analyst Sr.
Prerequisites: CYB 100
Covers advanced SOC operations and defensive security practices. Topics include SIEM management, intrusion detection, endpoint security, advanced log analysis, and threat hunting. Hands-on labs allow learners to simulate complex security incidents, apply mitigation strategies, and refine incident response skills suitable for senior SOC roles.
CYB-ADV 105 : SOC Analyst Elite
Prerequisites: CYB-ADV 100
Focuses on mastery-level skills for cybersecurity defense. Learners gain expertise in orchestrating SOC operations, advanced incident detection, threat intelligence integration, automation of response workflows, and comprehensive security analysis. Practical labs and capstone exercises simulate high-stakes security environments, preparing students for elite operational roles and advanced professional certifications.
